We were invited to design January's issue — Non-Profit — cover for Novum — World of Graphic Design — an international monthly publication (bilingual, in German/English) featuring the best in contemporary graphic design, illustration, photo design, web design, corporate design, poster design, advertising, packaging and typography. novum also spotlights new talent and the latest trends.

Non-Profit concept is determined by connections, human trust, exchanges and communication. With a minimal approach the cover design is based on a moiré pattern, superimposing two halftone grids 0º to 50º we manage to create an interference visual pattern that give us the idea of two dependent structures from each other. The metallic pantone is to metaphorically represent money (copper penny) contrasting with subtle colors — we were able to create a classy look, after all it also should represent the begining of 2015.
