The Long River

Nadav Kander came to China several times in 2005 to 2007, visited 186 cities and traveled along the Yangze river. For this photographic series he won the Prix Pictet Earth 2009 and was named Silver Photographer of the Year Award at Lianzhou International Photo Festival 2008 in China. H

Nadav was born in Israel in 1961 and moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, when he was three. He began photographing at an early age and moved to London in 1982. His work appears in publications including The Sunday Times Magazine, Rolling Stone, Time, Another Magazine.
