At first glance, the photographs of Hans Jörgen Johansen appear to be arranged gardens, but the landscapes are made of mold. The process to create each photograph can take between one and two months. On a two square feet table, he creates patterns of organic materials that he waters and takes care of so that mold can grow. Nothing is manipulated in Photoshop.
