Alyson Provax is an artist living in Portland. She makes work exploring our tenuous relationship with time. She listens to overhead conversations, explores a dilettantish interest in physics, and generally looks for interesting explanations of everyday phenomena.

Alyson received her BFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2007, where she received the Liberal Arts Award. Before attending Pacific Northwest College of Art, she studied at Cabrillo College, where she was awarded the Karen Tossaveinen Endowed Printmaking Scholarship.
